ABOUT ISCHOOL WEBBOARD

The ischool webboard 2.0 introduces the school-based capability building framework, toolkit, and the social network for education that allow free on-line communication and learning collaboration between teachers and learners in all schools.

It presents the web applications and knowledge-base that both the teachers and learners can openly use to publish and view web-based learning presentations, learning activities, content references, and evaluation resources by using the free web applications enjoyed by the digital citizens.

The ischool webboard ver.1.0 was supported by USAID Last Mile Initiative, CICT and DepEd. Ver.2.0 is now a user driven activity on ICT4E..

INTERNET CLASSROOM

The Internet classroom is a free service provided by nicenet.org. It a simple on-line place where any teachers can register and create on-line classroom, to publish instructional materials, to do on-line discussion, and to provide links to the web-based digital content.

The safe place for both learners and teachers to engage anywhere and anytime on the lessons to be introduced, topics to be reviewed, written assignments to be submitted, and ideas and experiences to be discussed.

The ischool webbboard promotes the educational re-purposing of public web application, aligned use of of Internet knowledge-base, and the open sharing of technology-based learning materials and activities in order to improve the competency building in the basic secondary education.
